01 April 2016: Debating

Today we will be having a debate. 

I will provide you with a number of topics. Each of you is to chose a topic and you will have 15 minutes to prepare a 2 minute speech on the topic of your choice.

Once you have presented your speech the rest of the class (and I) will then engage you and say whether we agree or disagree. 

Here are you choices

·      Homework should be banned.

·      School uniforms should be required.

·      PE should be required of all students throughout middle and high school.

·      The Internet should be banned from schools.

You are free to research on the internet for vocabulary you do not understand
